Application of Plasticizers DOS/DOA
Changsheng’s DOS/DOA can give PVC products good low-temperature softness and light resistance and better hand feel.
Mostly used with DOP, DBP main plasticizers for cold-resistant agricultural films, frozen food packaging films, wire and cable cladding, plates, outdoor water pipes, hoses, etc.
Difference between DOS and DOA
Both DOS and DOA have good plasticizing effect, low volatility, and certain heat and light stability, so how should we choose?
- DOS is much more expensive than DOA
- DOS is more resistant to cold than DOA
Usually, DOA can be used within -30℃, but not too much, which can easily lead to oil precipitation.
If there is a high requirement for cold-proof, or below -30℃, you should use DOS.
